Lessons in Washington, DC ...
In addition to teaching outside of the Washington, DC area, we regularly teach lessons around the DC area. We periodically teach at The Jam Cellar in NW DC and teach regular on-going series at Glen Echo Park in Glen Echo, Maryland. We are also available for private lessons.
The Jam Cellar Classes
We help run a weekly party called The Jam Cellar in NW DC. The Jam Cellar is the best weekly venue in the area and, yes, we do say so ourselves. In rotation with 6 other nationally known instructors, we teach beginner and intermediate/advanced level lessons. Check out Jam Cellar's schedule to see what's going on.
Glen Echo Classes
For the last few years, we have been teaching on-going series at the Bumper Car Pavillion Glen Echo Park. Because we've been on the road so much, we have had to give them up for a while. However, our friends Bobby & Kate have taken up our gig there and you should definatly check them out. They are great teachers and dancers.
Private Lessons
We are available for individual and group private lessons. The cost for 1-4 people is $120/hr for both of us, $75/hr for just one of us (plus studio fee, if applicable). For larger groups, contact us for pricing info. We can hold classes at our home "studios" (aka apartments), at the Jam Cellar, or at any number of other places we have up our sleeves.
